Despise You is hands down one of the greatest powerviolence bands of all time, for me at least. In my top 10 bands. Despise You come from Inglewood, CA and sing about real shit. Death, drugs, skating, suicide, etc. What more could you ask for. California’s purest personification of hate, formed in 1995. The band utilises a dual vocal style with male & female vocals and a political edge similar to Man Is The Bastard or Capitalist Casualties. Grab both of these albums, give them a listen, then buy everything these guys have created. Support local artists, so they can keep making that music that you just can't help but bang your head to.
