Gabe plays drums. Cody does guitar stuff. So does Nick. JP plays bass. Most everybody sings along. They’ve been in some of the bands that have burned out the backs of your eyeballs, Yeah Yeah Yeahing you into a jitter sex frenzy, Locusting your flesh down to bare white bones, and spurting Blood Brothers all over your clean white sheets. Such an awesome short lived band. They made one record, played one show and that was it. Get this record NOW!
The Baltimore quartet, Love Life, featured ex-members ofJaks,Universal Order Of ArmageddonandThe Great Unraveling. Their uniquely raw,post-punkinfused noise rockoften utilized odd time signatures, driving bass, multi-layered arrangements featuring organs, horns, and strings, and most notably Katrina Ford’s sinister, guttural voice and lyrics. Their sound earned them frequent comparisons to artists likeThe Birthday Party,Diamanda Galas,The Jesus Lizard,Swans, and earlyPere Ubu.In 2004, Love Life broke up, with Katrina Ford, Sean Antanaitis, and drummer David Bergander forming the post-punk cabaret trio, Celebration, and bassist Anthony Malat going on to form Bellmer Dolls.

but it does contain these two records, which rule, so go for it :)
Musica Elettronica Viva could not be easily defined as one band. Instead, MEV was closer to a movement based around the idea of free improvisation in the form of experimental, electronic jazz. In the early ’70s, there were three different (but related) bands that went by the name: one in New York that included Richard Teitelbaum and Frederic Rzewski; one in Paris, led by Patricia and Ivan Coaquette (before his Spacecraft days); and one in Rome, founded by Alvin Curran. They were early experimenters with the use of synthesizers to transform sounds. They also used such “non-musical” objects as amplified panes of glass and olive oil cans, and their performances achieved notoriety in Italy for their ability to generate riots. Really good noise, check this stuff out if your into that kinda stuff.
Formed in Early 2001 by Brad Wallace and Will Killingsworth, both former members of Orchid, Bucket Full of Teeth was conceived as a friendly venture in playing generic powerviolence but instantaneosly evolved into much more. The band quickly become more interested in pushing conventions of heavy music and punk rock.Having only played 6 shows ever, and primarily a studio project, Bucket Full of Teeth began work on new material in 2002. Fusing elements of Death Metal, Ambient, Psychedlic, Prog, Thrash and Stoner Rock into a cohesive whole much better serving the original musical thesis attempted in their early recordings. Self-Recorded and painstakingly edited and revised at Dead Air Studios over the past two years Bucket Full of Teeth have produced a collage of sonic destruction both heavy and unpredictable. The band has said this will be their final release but rumors of working on new material and live incarnations surface often.
Sonic Youth is an influentialexperimental rockband which formed in New York City, New York, United States in 1981. The current lineup consists of Thurston Moore (vocals, guitar), Kim Gordon (vocals, bass, guitar), Lee Ranaldo (vocals and guitar), Steve Shelley (drums) and Mark Ibold (bass). In their early career, Sonic Youth was associated with the No Wave art and music scene in New York City. Part of the first wave of American noise rock groups, the band carried out their interpretation of the hardcore punk ethos throughout the evolving American underground that focused more on the DIY ethic of the genre rather than its specific sound. One of the greatest bands of all time, I'm sure you've heard of these guys, but if you haven't do yourself a favor. Not every album is included so dig around and find the rest if you love it, but these are just some of my all time favorites.
The band formed in 2004 and is named after a Club in New York in the 60`s, where Nico (Velvet Underground) had her first solo performances. The Blue Angel Lounge always loves music or art in general, so it was a privilege to make good music only for themselves. Now they would like to share their music and ideas with people they Love and Respect. Really good psychedelic shoegaze.
FUCKEDBYLIFE is my solo project. It was created during times strugging with heroin addiction, getting clean, getting dumped and finding love and sobriety. Check out the bandcamp ...
"Creation is Crucifixion is a spectacle to generate discourse on what has become known as progress. The debates around technology exist within the walls of academia and by representing these ideas to a new audience we desire to renew the debate before the rhetoric maneuvers itself to the center of thought. We have no answers… only questions. Automata is conceptually rooted in our questioning of what in/describes life. Any correspondence regarding content is applauded. We are as you… tools of our tools." Half heavy, technical, metal. Half noise. Get everything now.

Clikatat Ikatowi was one of San Diego’s most celebrated bands. They helped maintain the city as the art punk capital of world. They created twisted yet naturally flowing works in a broad range of styles. Ranging from lightning fast and huge, to stripped down, spacey, and lethargic, Clikatat’s songs were always engaging and mesmerizing. It wasn’t just their excellent compositions which made them everyone’s favorite band but also their superior musicianship. Just recently discovered these guys and I can't stop listening. If your into Antioch Arrow kinda stuff check these guys out now.
LSD and the Search for God is a shoegaze/noise-rock band from San Francisco, California formed in 2006. They have sadly released only one self titled EP. Really really good new shoegaze. Hopefully these guys will be putting some new stuff out one of these days. To be honest I'm not even sure if they still play, but either way, make sure to get this amazing EP.
James Vella, here working as the multi tasking lone personnel of A Lily, is also known for his work as guitarist/composer for the British post-classical/indie band yndi halda and as the owner of the O Rosa Records label. Very soothing & sweet, organic laptop-based music. Another one to just go outside, lay in the sun, close your eyes and zone out to. This album is in two parts, so make sure to get both.
Aphex Twin, born Richard David James, is an electronic music artist. He grew up in Cornwall, United Kingdom and started producing music around the age of 12. Richard has been hailed as “the most inventive and influential figure in contemporary electronic music” with his works ranging from ambient pieces to acid techno. I like a lot of his work, but the Come to Daddy EP takes the cake. Even if this kind of stuff doesn't sound appealing to you, give this one a chance.
Formed 1978 in Australia, was a 1980s industrial and noise music act once featuring Graeme Revell who later went on to compose soundtracks for film and television, most notably the incidental music for CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. The group was formed when Revell (aka Operator) met up with Neil Hill (aka Ne/H/il). They were both working at a psychiatric hospital when they became inspired by the manifesto of the German radical Marxist group known as the Sozialistisches Patienten Kollektiv (SPK). SPK’s early music is best described as disturbing and psychologically disorienting, in line with their nihilistic, subversive philosophy. The project ideal is to express the content of various psycho-pathalogical conditions, especially schizophrenia, manic - depressive psychosis, mental retardation and paranoia. SPK is trying to be a voice for those individuals condemned to the slow decay of mental hospitals and chemical / electro / surgical therapy, without fetishising them into blatant entertainment product. NOISE.
The Telescopes were formed in 1987 by Stephen Lawrie and could best be described as a noise/space rock band - The Jesus and Mary Chain, My Bloody Valentine and Spacemen 3 being influences and contemporaries. Give this band a listen, I just recently discovered them, better late then never.
Index for Potential Suicide was formed in the summer of 1998 in Charleston, SC by Christopher Ashley of the noise/hardcore band Murder Weapon and Brian Cooper, Robert Findlater and Frank Whiteside of Intentional Resentment. The four’s love for noise and experimental music was the foundation for the band’s early material. As an experimental band with drum machines, samplers, synths, trumpet, etc. Below is their discography. They have a very early 90's screamo sound to them, but keep it original with all the other noise they throw into the mix. Check these guys out.
Jaks were a band hailing from Chicago, Illinois. They created a savage sound full of foreboding doom with an unruly & sharp-toothed intensity of math rock and goth punk. It was heavy, nasty and raw similar to bands like The Birthday Party, Nation of Ulysses and Antioch Arrow. Below is their discography, but this version has 2 extra tracks one is from a comp and the other is supposed to be a Sesame Street song, enjoy.
