Sleep is a stoner doom metal band from San Jose, California. Active during the 1990s, Sleep earned critical and record label attention early in their career. Many describes them as " perhaps the ultimate stoner rock band, " and I can't agree more. I had the chance to see these guys live and it truly was an experience. If you ever have the opportunity to see these guys live, DO IT. Again this is one of the greatest stoner doom bands of all time. If you like Black Sabbath you'll love these guys. Do yourself a favor and download everything they created. You won't be disappointed.
