Joshua Fit For Battle was a prominent hardcore band based out of Newark, Delaware. Despite Joshua Fit For Battle’s effort to avoid categorization, both fans and critics often consider the band a product of the emotional hardcore uprise during the late 1990’s. Joshua Fit For Battle’s career spanned from 1998 to 2005, until the group disbanded. The band’s releases are still distributed by distinguished hardcore label Level Plane. Amazing band, if you haven't heard these guys yet, don't pass them up.

Awesome vegan straight edge metalcore band from North Carolina that started in the mid nineties and officially broke up in early 98.There’s a lot of metal going on, vocals are harsh and carry across lyrics of animal liberation and holding on to your goals. Recommended if you’re into classic good metalcore. Just recently discovered these guys and I'm really into it. Give these guys a listen.
"Creation is Crucifixion is a spectacle to generate discourse on what has become known as progress. The debates around technology exist within the walls of academia and by representing these ideas to a new audience we desire to renew the debate before the rhetoric maneuvers itself to the center of thought. We have no answers… only questions. Automata is conceptually rooted in our questioning of what in/describes life. Any correspondence regarding content is applauded. We are as you… tools of our tools." Half heavy, technical, metal. Half noise. Get everything now.

Meshuggah, whose name is taken from the Hebrew and Yiddish word for “crazy”, are a five-piece band from UmeĆ„, Sweden, founded in 1987. Their style is most easily described asextreme/technical metalwith somejazzinfluence. They use extended polymetric passages, complex drum patterns, angular, dissonant guitar riffs, and harsh vocals. Awesome lyrics, heavy as shit what more do you need. These are my two favorite albums. Thanks to Eric Liewald for getting me into these guys.
